Let's start 2026 off right.
The Task:
Take a photo of your Victorinox EDC choice for the day, every day for one month and share it here, everyday.
There is no competition for best photo.
The challenge is only to share a photo of your Victorinox EDC every day for a month.
That's 31 days, 31 different photos. Same knife or different knife, it doesn't matter.
The Rules:
1. Post an authentic photo of your Victorinox EDC at some point through your day. It could be sitting on your desk at work, in your car, on a park bench during your lunch break, laying in bed if you're sick. This doesn't need to be fancy. Believe me at around week two you'll be really sick of this. This doesn't need to be a different knife everyday. It's just your EDC knife of choice that day.
2. If you miss a day that's ok you can catch up. You will be given three days grace but you have to catch up with a different photo for each day you missed. This also means instead of starting on January 1st community members can start as late as January 4th but they still have to post a different photo for each day. All of those different missed day photos can be in one post if you're catching up. No new entries after January 4th. You'll just have to wait till next time.
3. You must be a Victorinox Community member.
4. Post a photo every day to this thread only. You are also required to post the day number along with the photo. For example: "Day 1", "Day 2", etc. This is just so it's easy for me to keep track. So they can be counted for each person easily.
5. The winner will be randomly drawn from all of the members who complete this challenge. The draw date will be on February 4th because technically there might be some stragglers posting with the three days grace allowance I mentioned.
The Prize:
If you successfully complete the challenge you will have the chance to win a new knife. All community member who complete this will have one entry. The winner will be randomly selected. Once again the quality of the photos doesn't mean anything officially as long as it's of your EDC that you're actually using/carrying on that day.
With the number of people who contacted me interested in finding a Serrated Spartan I decided to make one of those the prize. So you will get a brand new knife I purchased from a dealer in the original packaging.
Shipping:
I will personally pay for standard postal shipping to any members country of residence around the world. I will list it as a gift on any paperwork or declaration that I may need to fill out on this end. I don't know any of the individual import costs or if there even would be any. Those costs will be up to the winner to cover on their end. If you're in the U.S.A. you will have to pay any import duty/tariff yourself. That's what we all have to do in other countries too. Sorry. If the winner decides not to they can just abandon it I suppose. At that point it hasn't cost them anything. I believe this's a model that's not restricted anywhere but that will be up to you to confirm. Once I send it off I'm out of the picture.
I'm several hours behind in time from most members time zone. It's just after 15:00 here on Dec 31st. Have a great New Year's eve and be safe. We will hopefully see you with your first post in this thread tomorrow. Have fun!
Cheers,
I really hope to see some of those 2025 Community Knives being used.
