29roadie Komrade Yes exactly. I find I'm always using the box opener and occasionally the scissors and pen. I've not needed it to cut any food yet. Maybe it's that I'm more of a barbarian and not very refined?

29roadie Elsinox That small serrated edge on the Box Opener is quite versatile. I keep finding more uses for it and saving the edge on my main blade.
29roadie Julius I found one of these a few months ago but before that I don't know that I was even aware of them. Gold cork screw and key ring. I also learned to buy anything with a serial number no matter the condition. Is yours one of the solid gold ones? Mine isn't, I wish it was.
Julius 29roadie no, mine has gold plated corkscrew. Solid gold corkscrew has 18K stamp and knife is numbered. Few years ago Ibach factory shop still has for sell this gold version in nice wood box for around 370CHF if I’m not wrong. Pic for illustration :

bornchan Tag 7. Another early, cold start, not as cold as the last 2 mornings though, it's water rather than ice. Explorer again; will probably keep using it for the rest of the week. It's due for a scale change this weekend.😌
