So I like to whittle with my SAK and there are times when you use the knife for greater than a couple of minutes. I was wonder what size or style do you think feels the best. Such as no hot spots in your hand with prolonged use and just feels stable.
My Swiss Champ of course can tackle any task but for longer use it feels unnatural in the hand.
For me me I think that 3 layer and 4 layers 91 mm feel pretty good. The two layer like the Tinker are ok for a while but you do have to grip tight after a few minutes. My Sentential handle feels the best for longer use but I don't find that blade is a blade that fits most longer use task like carving or something.
I find the lock on my EVO 18 Grip to be the down fall of it being a comfortable longer use knife and that is weird with grip in the name. Also, its a little short for my hand.
I feel like the 91mm is liked because many like the blade size. I wonder if people don't realize that the handle size is as important to them but they don't know it. The 91mm 3 layer I feel with smooth handle edges, length, and width creates a sweet spot for comfort.
