Julius I've modified the Outrider a bit: I replaced the can opener with a very handy awl from the Alox series (like the 29roadie shown above) and the corkscrew with a Philips one. Perhaps I should replace the awl with a small flathead screwdriver. What do you think?
I think this is really great. This is a great idea.
I think the small screwdriver would be the next gradual progression but how much would you use it is the question?
I know you’re thinking that you’ve doubled up the tools a bit but that may not be totally true. The awl does have the sewing eye in it to. I guess as always it comes down to how you’re going to use it.
I could go either direction with it personally if it was mine. I might even consider the wood chisel if it was for use in the wilderness. I’m assuming it would fit of course. I’ve never had one of these apart.
