The Victorinox Evoke Damast Limited Edition is the gold standard among pocket knives. Damascus steel forged through pressure and repetition, layers folded over and over until something extraordinary emerges. To me, it is the perfect symbol of a man I know.
My father is built the same way. Shaped by a lifetime of quiet sacrifice, he became someone of rare and enduring character -- strong, steadfast, and reliably there for all of us, through every difficult season, without ever asking for recognition in return.
Now, as he grows older and his hands aren't quite as steady, I'd love to give something back. I can picture him in retirement -- carefully fixing his favourite clock, trimming wood in the garden, or just reaching for a tool that fits perfectly in his palm. A companion as dependable as he always was for us.
To win this for him would mean everything. Not just a knife -- but a small way of saying: you are still the gold standard, Dad. And you always will be.
