I got a couple of new knives today. The one I'm really happy to get is this Automobile Special. From what I can tell it's 1974 - 1979. It is absolutely mint. It has zero marks. It doesn't even have fine scratches from storage. The box is near mint. It has the Bayer Aspirin logo on the blade. I'm not usually looking for this kind of knife but I couldn't pass it up.
I purchased this from a Ebay seller in Hong Kong. I think that might have scared off a lot of bidders. I really didn't know what I was going to get charged to import it. Duty, taxes, brokerage, etc. I wasn't charged anything. This item had free shipping and it actually was completely free.
