As promised, I'm sharing pictures of some of the knives I received in August. Nothing even close to the gems other members have shared, so don't get your hopes up. Most of them are standard knives to be fitted with not-so-standard colored "plus-scales".
I've already shared these on the Alox thread. Got four Farmer X knives in red/black/green/blue to keep their silver sibling company. Thank you @Spok
And while at it, I got this Rancher X in red, because come on! 😍
As to the #7 next to it, I got at an irresistible price, so it will go into the to-be-gifted pile.
And thanks to the incomparable @DatiMom , I got these 4 awesome knives.
As I've mentioned once or a hundred times before, one of my favorite knives is the Victorinox StreetFood, modded by our own @SCTwist . He so generously fitted it with "Travel" scales, inspiring the next collection of Spartans (and ones Explorer, of course).
And speaking of fitting knives with new scales, I got a Trailfinder and a OH Forester to fit with orange scales. Now they join my orange Forester and green Leister
To round up, I got a silver Synergy X to complete the set of three, and another one in blue to EDC (since I'm EDCing the OneFold in red).
Won't bore you with the rest. They're mostly duplicates that I managed to rationalize a reason to get them (like to make a new color, or to get another silver Cadet with the new file…) I also got a few Ramblers and Jetsetters to make Managers and Jetsetters with pens to gift to friends.
Christmas came in August this year. 😬
