Elsinox Is there any chance of finding out which dealer posted the pictures?
Not that I know of. I’m sure Victorinox would like to know. 🤷♂️
In this case in particular I don’t think it would be very hard to figure out who took them. If you look in the picture of the Year of The Horse knife you can see the guys reflection. His hand holding a phone in one part then you can see him with a lanyard with a name on and the top of an ID tag. This was probably some dealer only event. The picture taken covertly. I’m sure Victorinox know a short list of events where these knifes were shown and they could match up the event by the name printed on the lanyard. There are often group photos taken at events like this so just look for the guy with that outfit.
If Victorinox was motivated enough they could probably figure it out. But there’s no such thing as bad publicity. Look at us talking about it and getting excited. Many have made up their mind and started saving up for the purchase based on the photo. Leaks are sometimes not entirely by accident too.
