Standard, Camper, Spartan?!

I need help with a model number and name. I believe this 1960s knife is old enough to not be called a Spartan, but would it be considered a Standard? U.S. catalogs call it a Camper (see image). And is this a 234, 234u, or am I completely off? Any help is appreciated!

Also die Bezeichnungen (eigentlich Marketingnamen) sind verwirrend in der damaligen Zeit. Die Modellnummern sind besser geeignet. Wenn es 91 mm ist, ist es ein Modell Nr. 234 U, bei 84 mm ein Modell Nr. 234 k U. U steht für Bügel, k für klein.

May I ask a follow-up? Do you know why U stands for bracket? I get the k for small (Klein in German), but I don't get the U - I would have assumed B for Bügel.

SCTwist Bis in die 1940-er Jahre war die Abkürzung tatsächlich "Bgl." für "Bügel". Ich denke U steht für die Form, weil der Bügel wie ein U aussieht.

So, yes it's a wavy grind or serrated blade - my favorite. I have too many serrated Spartans to admit and a few serrated Recruits as well. Plus the cheese knife and serrated Picnicker.

SCTwist I love my one and only serrated Spartan! Wish I had more. I have a lot of 111mm serrated knives, but I think that's my only 91mm with serrations.
