I think the Schinkenmesser are like the slicers I have for my barbecue or roast and perfect if you are slicing it like a roast, but supposedly a more flexible knife is better for this leg. And having tried both kinds, I tend to agree.

It doesn’t look like Victorinox makes a jamon knife, but I want to thank everyone for their input. Again, it’s a once-a-year “problem.

The Stollen will be opened tonight, but I don’t think my ladies will like it (they are not fans of marzipan 😞). They did like the Spekulatius though. I am introducing them to typical German Christmas favorites this year.
