Ich mach eigentlich Alles ohne Brille. Wenn es sein muss, dann hab ich eine einfache Lesebrille. Die Alters Weitsichtigkeit erwischt eigentlich jeden 😁 Ist nun mal so. Man erkennt bei den Victorinox Stamps an der Klinge kaum noch ob das V groß ist oder gleich groß

I’ve had a few purchases arrive in the last couple of days.

I had three Serrated Spartans arrive from an online retailer. I got them for a really good price and I really like the serrated blades. I think they’re possibly being retired again. I don’t know? I don’t see them on the Canadian Victorinox official store. I don’t really know if that means anything. Does anyone know?

I picked up a Swiss Champ XXL from the official store.

I received an Outdoorsman I purchased off of EBay last week.

Today a knife I purchased off of Marketplace also arrived. It was supposed to be a Traveller Lite but turned out to be a Voyager Lite instead. So it only has the clock functions. It’s in mint condition so it doesn’t really matter to me.

Ich bin auch ein großer Fan vom Serrated Spartan und besitze selber zwei davon. Die musste ich allerdings beide aus den USA importieren, da es die hier in Europa schon länger nicht mehr zu geben scheint.

MichaelRothenpieler Yes, I think so basically. This model that I have doesn’t have the temperature/barometer/altimeter. It was replaced with a model that did the Traveller Lite. Now is the Altimeter Lite the same as the Traveller Lite I don’t know? It could possibly be a case of different market different name. I don’t know enough about these yet to say for sure. Outwardly they look the exactly same I think.

tpach78 I think in markets outside of the USA this is usually called the Weekender. I have one of those too. What’s the difference? Nothing that I’m aware of.

Being in Canada we have got a lot of spillover from the USA in the past. That has recently been changing fast though. It’s cheaper for me to buy from basically anywhere else in the world now. So I have been.

29roadie das Altimeter war das "Ur"-Modell, wurde später durch Traveller und Voyager mehr oder weniger ersetzt. Und da gab es unterschiedliche Modelle.

Es kann auch das Voyager Lite sein, dass hatte statt den grauen die roten Schalen

29roadie Roadie und @Michael einen Altimeter Light gibt es nicht. Ihr meint den Altimeter Plus. Und ja, bis auf die Digital Funktion unterscheiden sich beide Optisch nicht. Der Traveller oder der Altimeter sehen gleich aus. Ich habe die komplette Digital Sucht. Ich habe alle gesammelt. Auch stehe ich total auf die digitalen mit dunklen Griffen. Die kaufe ich wo ich sie sehe. Die machen sich meiner Meinung nach, für Mods am besten. Von unten nach oben, die Reihenfolge wie sie bei Victorinox erschienen sind

MichaelRothenpieler There’s one that I stumbled onto that had grey scales and some letters on it. I think it represented a Swiss Mountain Rescue group if I’m not mistaken. I don’t know what features electronically though. The seller wasn’t willing to ship it so I missed out on that one.

Do you know if they all had the same tools?

Ya this one is the Voyager Lite in red with white LED. That’s the earlier one right? Though not early enough to have a red LED right?

29roadie Ja, das hieß hier auch Weekender. Das stimmt. Aber auch das Weekender wird seit einiger Zeit hier nicht mehr angeboten. Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere, gab es das hier auch nur in Verbindung mit einem Campingbesteck.
