Erik Yes that's around the time I remember starting to see them too. They do make a Classic SD that looks the same too but I don't collect those thankfully. They can still be had quite easily still even on Amazon. I have heard from a few people that it's very hard to find somewhere that sells Victorinox Knives in Canada. To try and find a knife that's specific to Canada is even more of a challenge. I think this knife filled at gap pretty well. With the amount of tourist traffic places like Banff gets it's really a missed opportunity and probably disappointing to some. The Canadian Victorinox sales team is really dropping the ball. I found an "I love the Rockies" knife that I'd never seen before last fall so maybe I'm totally wrong.

The only other one I've seen recently is one from a company called House of Knives houseofknives.ca. The image is of a bunch of cliché items that probably better represent the province of Ontario thousands of kilometres away than where I live. Not my choice but there's really nothing else that I know of. I think there are three models with these scales.
