Alox69 now that it's been retired because of the battery issues, can Victorinox put a small nailfile and nail cleaner tool and a toothpick in the area that had the light and battery ? My feeling is that it won't be replaced and just 2 versions of the SwissCard will be all that will ever be left.
Alox69 no because the nailfile will have to be smaller than the regular SwissCard nailfile and come to a point and not have the flathead screwdriver tip. A nailfile like the size on a 58mm would be perfect and have the slot for the tooth pick next to it. There should be plenty of room because all the space where the battery and light are would be gone. It could basically be the new Quad and better than the old Quad SwissCard version. It would work but Victorinox is not going to make it and they are deleted selections more than creating new ones and that is across the board at Victorinox. I have the good idea but it won't be considered for production. The 2 SwissCards left are it and Victorinox shows no interest in new SwissCards. Victorinox is deleted products and not doing much in creating products. Will the Companion ever be regular production and why only have the box opener tool on a Companion ?

Alox69 The light on the SwissCard Lite is kind of useless and our cellphone lights are brighter but when it came out 2 decades ago it was useful. The added nailfile with pointed nailcleaner tip and a toothpick makes more since and usability now than a weak light that takes up space where something else would get used . It doesn't matter because Victorinox is probably a half a step away from retiring all SwissCards. LOL !!!

Zweck_Los Wie jetzt die verschwinden jetzt vom Markt… Muuuuhaaaaaaa…….. jetzt muss ich die mir ja doch noch kaufen, als Sammler aus/abgelaufener Serien und Modelle….. Wieviel Versionen gibt es, kann jemand die mal hier aufzählen?
Alox69 just replaced my SwissCard Lite with a SwissCard NailCare. I will get more use out of the nailfile and toothpick than the dim light or small blade on the SwissCard Lite. My Alox MiniChamp has enough small blades to cover carrying small blades and the SwissCard Lite lacked the toothpick. The file is a toss up because my Alox MiniChamp has a nailfile. My EDC's are now more optimalized and won't miss not having the SwissCard Lite. My cell phone light is brighter and more adjustable. With all the Victorinox models with lights now retired they have more room to release new Alox models and they will sell and not be basically novelty items like the light models are.
