There are a couple of people selling the adapters on Ebay. I got one a couple of weeks ago.
If you do this you need to also put a magnet in the end of the SAK bit driver for the adapter to stay on the tool. I think that magnet could only be 1mm thick so as to not interfere with the SAK bits locking in with the ball/detent. Maybe even thiner than 1mm I don't know. There's a chance all the bits would now need the magnet to stay in the head of the driver at this point. I've not done it myself.
You of course need to now carry the adapter along with all the bits as well.🤨 Kind of a PITA and really defeats the purpose of the CyberTool for me.
I would suggest one could just carry the bits inside the handle of a full sized bit driver and not worry about any of this. I have a couple of the Snap On ones that I've had for decades but every company makes them in all shapes and sizes. There are also micro 1/4 bit ratchets are good for higher torque applications too. Right tool right job.
But that's all just my opinion based on my experiences in the field and absolutely not the only way to do it. Everyone figures out what works for them. I've never worked with tech who carried the same tools as me.
