MichaelRothenpieler Not very common actually. I think they are almost considered a novelty by a lot of people. Something you might only give to a young person. Not my view of course. It is a niche market just like some other brands like Mora, Opinel, Grohmann, etc.
The market here is flooded by US brands or Chinese garbage. Lots of the flick knives and everything is a locking blade in one part of the market. The other half of the market is Leatherman or one of those type of tools. If you say the word multitool 99% of people think youâre talking about a Leatherman. I donât know that market at all. Victorinox might do ok in that market I donât know.
There are exceptions but most of the small shops have disappeared. All we have now is large chains from the US like Cabelas and Bass Pro. Thatâs where a lot of people buy knives and all the other places carry the same brands to compete.
