Jessica Are you able to find out if these knives are going to be available in Canada?
I've been saying for months that I thought all of the knives with the flashlight were being discontinued or retired here in Canada. All of the models with the flashlight have just disappeared in the last year. I purchased the last XXL from the Victorinox Canadian web store in May and picked up a number of deeply discounted other models i found oddly listed on liquidation web sites.
I know i'm in the minority but the flashlight is one of my top 3 tools. I really hope Canada isn't going to get lumped into a North American ban just because of a U.S. law.
Something else to consider is Greenland is also part of North America too. Just like Mexico. We don't want a "certain country" to have influence on the Victorinox knife models that could be available to Greenlanders. They could surely use a flashlight there too. That's 3 for and 1 against by my count. There are also two very small French Islands off the Canadian coast (Saint-Pierre and Miquelon) that are part of North America too. I didn't even include them. Maybe it's actually 4 to 1? Oh ya and then there's all the Central American countries that are actually part of North America. I think that's probably something like 22 to 1 now.
Fun fact Canada actually shares a land boarder with the Kingdom of Denmark too.
