I’ve become obsessed with the 84mm knives and my latest acquisition arrived last week, a Tourist.

I bought this off eBay for $13.48 USD and it’s in great condition. I believe it’s a pre 1985 and model 0.3602 - No keyring.

I’ll get it cleaned up and put it with my (growing) collection.

M4arc The smaller size definitely has advantages in some situations. I also like the 84mm knives. Nice pick up!

EGiese Yes we are all from different worlds and one thing has brought us together like you say. I find I learn things everyday here and they aren’t all SAK related. We all come from different professional backgrounds and locations.

I find it interesting to hear names I all the towns and cities everyone is from too. I often look them up because I’ve never heard of most of them. Your Victorinox Community map idea is really good. It would be nice if it could be done in a custom Google map. I don’t know if that is even a thing but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was. That way you could zoom in to an area and see what sights were arounds.

Olivier Very nice. I don’t have any of these with the slide lock. I’m probably going to pick one up just to see how I like the feel of it without the liner lock.

Yours look to all be in nice shape. It often looks to me like the surface of the slide lock button is damaged with the ones I find in person. Maybe that’s just how they are, I don’t know.
