Komrade Thank you. My favourite part of the Yeoman is the inline Philips. In addition to the Explorer I look to knives with the light module. Just because I want the inline Philips primarily. Spartan Lite, Huntsman Lite, Climber Lite, etc. Some of those can be found quite inexpensively and brand new also. I personally have more use for the small flashlight than the magnifying glass.
Yes we are in the same boat. I live in the middle of nowhere. I actually think there are a number of people here that feel the same way. I personally buy a lot of stuff from the Victorinox web store or I search google for discontinued knives that a retailer in my specific country might have in stock. But yes it can be a problem because I always find something. Sometimes it’s best if I don’t look. 🤪😂
Actually there is one plus to probably being the only person into Victorinox knives in my area (I assume). You can actually find a lot of good stuff out in the wild. You probably do this already but I check all the second hand stores, pawn shops (if you have any), swap meets and gun shows specifically for SAKs. I found a Scientist last spring at a gun show a couple of hours away that had been sitting on display for the entire day.
