You know after I built my Serrated Cyber Compact I really liked it a lot. It’s one of my favourites. But having said that I really don’t like the combo tool as a flat blade screwdriver. The weakness of the CyberTool bits is the flathead in my opinion so I really want a good flathead on the knife. I think the S in CyberTool S should stand for Spartan instead of small. The flathead screw driver on the cap lifter is considerably better than the Combo tool in my opinion. If someone picked up a CyberTool S I would suggest they try carrying it like it is for a while before modifying it. I did for a few days and it’s good.
My issue with the CyberTool M is the bit driver should have been moved one layer over to centre it better. Other than that it’s a decent size for a tech to carry in my opinion.
I can’t speak about the Lite or L because I’ve never had one. I made a custom with a lite next to the driver and that is really handy for seeing inside machines like photocopiers and computers to try and land on a screw with the driver. That might be my choice had I not made the custom with the lite. If I could find one I’d buy it.
The fact is they’re all pretty great and I could get used to carrying any one of them. The old pre internet me would have actually done that. Victorinox would have probably only sold me one knife. Actually they did. I only had a Lumberjack for decades.
