I just got this knife today. I guess it’s an early 70’s Camper though there’s a lot of transition with the tools around then. It seems in the late 60s the saw wasn’t there on the Camper then it was in the early 70s with the clip point blade. The saw then seems to have disappeared on the Camper in other later years along with the clip point blade. It was basically a Spartan with the Camping logo at that point. I really don’t know much about the knives of this era. It does have some damage to the spine on the main blade. It almost looks like damage from someone shorting out a 110V 15amp circuit with it. If someone tries to cut a live wire with side cutters they often look very similar to this.
I was attracted to the large Nickel Silver Inlay on this one.
