I just got back from visiting my friend who arrived yesterday from Germany. I collected the 16 Vics I had sent to his place, and I'm over the moon (except for one incident)! I wanted to share the joy with the community, but Ralph's post is an extremely tough act to follow, so I'll wait till tomorrow. 😜
Speaking of Ralph's post, this is an amazing set that is surely making everyone here drool. I can't express how much I love this collection. I only have the Morgarten knife myself, but it's probably in the top 3 of my collection. I think it's the only numbered limited edition knife I ever bought in person (not online), so I had 3 numbers to choose from. I picked 1881. Every other numbered knife I have has a totally random number, and all but one are odd numbers (I prefer even numbers). But with the Morgarten, the symmetry of 1881 more than makes up for that.
I'm pretty sure somewhere, someone with knife number 1315 knows how lucky they are. I hope it's someone in the community. ☺️
