I recently bought a black Compact from the year 2000 recently in near mint condition for $35 and it had a company logo with the year on it and I removed it. I like the old tang stamp and thicker blade stock and the old style round mini screwdriver. I had been looking for a 98 to 05 era Compact for a while but they were either way over priced or not showing up in good condition on eBay
