29roadie MichaelRothenpieler Yes you’re right it certainly could have been but it’s got kind of a melted feel to the edge of it. Or high amperage low voltage electrical service here makes unintentional welding really easy. It’s actually a really poor inefficient system but it will never change now unfortunately.

29roadie MichaelRothenpieler Ya that sounds about right. 😳😆 It’s quite that spark shower too. It gets your attention. I’ve damaged the sides of a couple of screwdrivers but that’s about it myself. I have been electrocuted several times but I’ve never gotten frozen to it luckily. I worked with a guy who did once though. He grabbed a big stainless sink that he didn’t know was shorted out. We were in a restaurant installing some equipment and he just couldn’t let go or say anything. I tackled him and knocked him loose of it. Drug labs have been known to wire up their doorknobs with 110Vs. In the fire department we were taught to tap the door knob with the back of our hand to test for a booby trap. You might get a shock but you’re hand muscles won’t contract on the door knob and cook you.
29roadie MichaelRothenpieler That’s kind of where I live though. I see a lot more people if I go hiking on one of the trail systems. I have a bunch of property that’s all forest that I could go hike around on that too. I usually go to check the fence line for downed trees and other fence damage so the horses don’t get out.
