Funny, we seem to have the same approach.
When I decided to get back into collecting, I told myself I’d stick to current models and ones I actually use.
But it’s hard to resist—especially when you stumble upon a model you used to own. When you see it listed somewhere, it’s tough not to buy it!
Personally, I’ve been focusing on models I didn’t have before. I tell myself I was lucky to own certain ones in the past, but now it’s time to move on.
If I happen to find an old one at a decent price, why not — but I don’t stress about it anymore.
Of course, it’s not easy to see some models we used to have now selling for three times the price or more…
But oh well, time to move forward and change perspectives.
Nowadays, I use my knives more and I’m less obsessed with chasing a specific model at all costs.
