MichaelRothenpieler EGiese Ne, Du hast hier keinen übersehen.
29roadie EGiese Well, I simply evaluated the reports in the thread in order (provided a location was specified) and transferred them to the map as points. Oh ok that makes sense. I thought there were actual coordinates listed somewhere. I didn’t see one where I am but there is a dot about 1200km away so that’s probably me. It’s a really interesting idea. As it fills out it might be an interesting feature that the webpage could automatically create and display showing the reach of the community here.
29roadie NickSak Nice! You guys have some of the coolest old bridges there. So much use of cast iron everywhere too. You can quite literally see the industrial revolution at every turn. Do you know how old that bridge is? Nothing is old here. The city I’m closest to was little more than a couple of orchards close together 100 years ago.
29roadie Sgbeskin You’ve got some long beaches there, wow. Tell me do they call it that name because it’s obviously Mississippi and it’s on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico right? Is there another coastline that needed this area to be distinguished from? I see almost the entire area has water behind giant strips of sand that really looks like a breakwater. Does the name Mississippi Gulf Coast only refer to the outer most beaches that protect the Mississippi Coast as a breakwater between it and the Gulf Of Mexico? I’m just trying to understand the name for some reason. Thanks.
