29roadie MichaelRothenpieler Yes I think it would fit. The 84mm has smaller rivets but I just drill the liners and all the tools on that side of the knife to fit the large 91mm pins. I’ve done it a couple of times with other 91mm tools. Honestly I don’t even know if it’s all that necessary. The play in the package opener due to its larger hole would be very slight.
29roadie bornchan I have one 84mm knife with scissors and I can’t say I haven’t thought about making an 84mm Companion Slim. Maybe if I find another more beat up 84mm knife with scissors. I don’t know. It would be emotionally pretty hard to do.

29roadie MichaelRothenpieler I like the 91mm knives too. I think the smaller lighter 84mm might be something I’d like to try carrying more in the summertime. Particularly when I’m wearing shorts. I have tried it a little bit this year.
